Chalet Hohentauern is the newest development of the property developer Alpen Real GmbH. The project will consist of 50 detached chalets with all the luxuries you can imagine. The chalets’ architectural design is of the highest quality and combines the traditional timber framework with the modern requirements that we expect these days.

Regarding this project, the system is simple: you choose your plot (around 500 m²) and after you have decided on the size of the chalet (85 m², 100 m² or 115 m² floor space) the building work will be carried out. You can personalise the design of your chalet by choosing to add a sauna or Jacuzzi for example, or a conservatory or covered terrace.

Austria has strict legislation for the acquiring of real estate by foreigners and in some areas it is difficult to purchase properties. However, the chalets on Chaletpark Hohentauern fall under the so called Zwiegwohnsitzgenehmigung which means you can choose to rent your property out through a professional organisation (which enables you to reclaim the VAT on the sales price), use it as a second home, or live in it permanently. THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO LET!

The park will be built in the centre of Hohentauern village, next to the ski lift. The Hohentauern ski region is a great place for skiers who want to enjoy “pure nature” with their families. It is a small resort with just 5 lifts and 15 kilometres of well prepared pistes, at heights of between 1250 and 1800 metres.
