Almdorf Kreischberg West

Austria has strict legislation for the acquisition of real estate by foreigners. The chalets in the Almdorf Kreischberg fall under the "Zweigwohnsitgenehmigung" or the second residence licence. You can choose to purchase a property with an arranged rental scheme, as a second home or as a permanent residence. This means that you can live full time in your chalet or you can let it. THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO LET!

 

If you decide to let the property you can reclaim the VAT on the purchase price. There is a transfer rule agreed with the tax office that you do not pay VAT before financing.

 

You are free to spend all your time in the property, let it yourself or allow an independent management organisation to let it for you. We already have an agreement in place with a specialist in the rental of holiday homes: Happy Home who, through its own brochure and website, offers chalets for rent to the European market.

 

On this park an association of owners (VVE) will be established where all owners will be obliged to become members. The VVE will supervise the maintenance of the general amenities such as the swimming pool, reception, landscaping, paths and roads etc. The local management shall take care that the reception and the general facilities are managed and the daily activities are carried out.
