By means of a well devised plan, Stadl and  the chaletpark (300m) will be linked by 2 lifts to the heart of the Kreischberg ski area. The first building phase, to the middle station, will be built in 2008 and will be possible to ski back to just under the chalet park (to the beach swimming pool). These areas are part of the Murtale Schiberge, which consists of 7 small ski areas (15 – 35 km piste) with a total of around 150 km of piste between 1200m and 2200m.

Summer

The little village of Stadl is situated in an area where there summers are very sunny and the temperatures relatively high.  A beach pool with diving platforms provides refreshing coolness on a hot day.  In the village centre you will find many pleasant terraces and restaurants serving delicious local and regional meals.  There is a heated indoor swimming pool, a tennis court and an 18-hole golf course in St Michael.  There are excellent, relatively flat cycle routes along the river Mur.  And, the real adventurers will find countless things to do such as rafting on the River Mur, mountain biking and following adventurous walking routes in front of the “Gipfel Sturmer” to the high peaks in the surrounding area.

Also, very close to the park (in Stadl village) there are now many facilities such as a children’s play area, a tennis court, beach volleyball and a half pipe for the enthusiastic inline-skaters. These are all a short walk from from the park.

Easy Accessibility

By Plane:       Flights to Salzburg from Stanstead Airport are particularly cheap and very frequent. (3 times a day in the winter). You can also fly from Bournmouth, Coventry, Gatwick Bristol, Southampton and Manchester. Salzburg Airport is only 80 minutes from Kreischberg.
